"My husband and I were married in my church home, a beautiful sanctuary with a full organ and cherry wood throughout the room, and our reception was held in my husband’s home church just a few minutes down the road from the ceremony. The juxtaposition of these two places meant a lot to the both of us. In order to have the reception at my husband’s home church, their gymnasium needed a make over to give the elegant look that we were looking for. On a very low budget, Lisa was able to transform the church gym into an evening dinner venue. The entrance and table decorations distracted from the vaulted gym ceiling while accenting the wedding colors. Spray painted silver tree branches were nested in a bedding of the wedding colors and laid on mirror panels. She was very innovative in her use of ordinary items to make the space glow. Lisa was easy to work with and thrived within our low budget. We are so thankful for all the hard work she put into making our gym reception match the beauty of our elegant ceremony."
